CBR1000RR 04-07

This example is a 'Full Race Specification' tune. The FW Developments spec CBR1000RR 2006-8 was developed for the Stobart Honda team in the British Superbike championship and used ny Quay Garage Racing to win the 2009 Superbike Cup.

The complete engine was stripped to the crankcases, that were then modified and re-built with a balanced crank and aftermarket pistons. All bearings were measured and re-sized. The cylinder head was ported and valve seats cut to give a sufficient valve to piston clearance. FWD spec camshafts were fitted and shimmed to suit.

The end result was the superbike producing over 200bhp
